Overview
By participating in the Zesta consumer referral program (the “Referral Program”), you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Referral Terms”), which are in addition and subject to the DoorDash Consumer Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Terms and Conditions for Promotional Offers and Credits. If you do not agree to the Referral Terms, please do not participate in the Referral Program. Zesta reserves the right to change these Referral Terms at any time, and any updated version of the Referral Terms will be posted at https://about.zesta.one/referral-terms/. Your continued participation in the Referral Program after Zesta has posted an updated version of the Referral Terms constitutes your agreement to the updated version, and the updated version will be effective as of the time of posting or on such later date as may be specified in the updated version. In addition, Zesta reserves the right to (1) modify or terminate the Referral Program at any time and in any manner without notice to you, in whole or in part; and (2) remove you from the Referral Program if Zesta suspects you have engaged in fraudulent activity or determines, in its sole discretion, that you have abused the Referral Program or violated these Referral Terms or any other applicable agreement between you and Zesta. “Zesta” means Verbosec, Inc., a Delaware corporation, and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies. “You” means a Referrer or New User, as defined below.
The Referral Program governs how a currently registered user of the Zesta platform in good standing (a “Referrer”) can receive Zesta credit (“Referral Credit”) by referring a friend or family member to register as a new user of the Zesta platform and meet certain other requirements (a “New User”), as more fully described below. The Referral Program is only available to users of the Zesta platform.
Referrers
A Referrer will receive Referral Credit for each “Qualified Referral,” which occurs when all of the following conditions are met:
- The Referrer provides the Referrer’s unique referral link (or “Referral Code”) directly to the New User through email, text, or the Share Your Link option.
- The New User (a) registers on the Zesta platform using the Referral Link provided to the New User by the Referrer; and (b) meets the offer requirements set forth in the Referral Link, which typically includes placing an order on the Zesta platform with a certain minimum subtotal (excluding taxes and fees).
- At the time of registering on the Zesta platform, the New User is located in the same country as the Referrer.
- The New User has not previously registered on the Zesta platform.
- The New User and Referrer are not the same person.
- Zesta does not suspect that the Referrer or the New User have engaged in fraudulent activity.
- The Referrer has not reached the Referral Cap as defined below.
If Zesta determines, in its sole discretion, that any of the above conditions have not been met and the Referrer has already received Referral Credit, Zesta reserves the right to revoke such Referral Credit.
A Referrer can only receive Referral Credit in connection with the following number of Qualified Referrals (the “Referral Cap”):
- 10 Qualified Referrals if the Referrer is located in the United States.
- 25 Qualified Referrals if the Referrer is located in South Africa.
The amount of Referral Credit that can be received for each Qualified Referral varies and may also vary over time, and will be stated in the Referrer’s Zesta account (in the area where the Referrer can access the Referral Link).
A Referrer will not receive Referral Credit, or Referral Credit may be revoked, if Zesta determines, in its sole discretion, that:
- Any Qualified Referral condition set forth above has not been met;
- The Referrer posted the Referral Link on a publicly accessible website such as, but not limited to, Google, Craigslist, X (Twitter), and Forums;
- The Referral Credit was received in connection with a New User who has previously created a Zesta account, even if such other account was created using a different email address, phone number, or other information; or
- The Referral Credit was received erroneously, fraudulently, illegally, or in violation of these Referral Terms or any other applicable agreement between you and DoorDash.
Referral Credits are subject to the Zesta Terms and Conditions for Promotional Offers and Credits, as applicable.
New Users
A New User who registers on the Zesta platform using a Referral Link will be eligible for the offer stated in the Referral Link as long as Zesta determines, in its sole discretion, that all of the following conditions are met:
- The New User meets the requirements stated in the offer and the offer has not expired, if applicable.
- Zesta does not suspect that the New User has engaged in fraudulent activity.
- The Referrer who provided the Referral Link to the New User has not reached the Referral Cap.
- The Referrer’s Zesta account is active and Zesta does not suspect that the Referrer has engaged in fraudulent activity.
- All of the Qualified Referral conditions set forth above have been met.
Final eligibility for the New User’s offer will be determined at checkout.
